At Agape Enrichment Foundation, we are a Spirit-led, faith-based organization committed to provide a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Rooted in God's unconditional love (Agape), we focus on early education, character development, and building a strong foundation that empowers each child to thrive in their God-given purpose.

Our Legacy

Agape Enrichment Foundation was born from a powerful vision rooted in love, community, and purpose. In 2005, Dr. Laurie Sanders-Taylor, a single mother of three, saw the urgent need for quality child care in underserved communities. She founded Taylor Tots Family Child Care with a mission: to ensure every child regardless of background has access to nurturing, high-quality early education.

For over two decades, her commitment has impacted countless families, laying a foundation of care, excellence, and trust.

Today, that legacy continues through the next generation. Dr. Laurie has officially passed the mantle to her daughter, Shaquinta Pope, who now leads as the Executive Director of Agape Enrichment Foundation. Under Shaquinta’s leadership, Agape is expanding its impact while honoring its roots.

Meet Our Staff

Shaquinta S. Pope

Executive Director

I am a dedicated and purpose-driven professional with over 22 years of experience in the child care field,with a strong background in early childhood education and child development. My educational background includes an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Child Development, and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Child Development at California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Throughout my career, I have worked in early childhood and child development settings, supporting the developmental, emotional, and academic needs of young children. I am skilled in creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments that promote learning, creativity, and positive social interaction.

My passion for working with children is the driving force behind my work. I am committed to fostering growth, building confidence, and helping every child reach their fullest potential through compassion, consistency, and meaningful connection.
